Condolences

Condolence From: Madyson Quest of Waco, Texas
Condolence: Pap sent me incredible letters I will always hold on to. He was sharp, dependable, and I hope I have half of the gumption he had. Pap knew what he wanted and got to see Europe and farm and always encouraged/supported his great grandchildren. I enjoyed fall afternoons with him and stories about the farm life and tractors. He cared deeply about the world around him as well as the global current events. I can only imagine his prayers were heartfelt. Love you, Pap.

Condolence From: Lynn Searcy of Weston, Mo
Condolence: I'm am deeply sorry for your loss -- Charles was a great man, with one of the biggest hearts i have ever known. He helped many people, a lot younger than him by bringing them to the grocery store when they didn't have a ride, even picking up friends and taking them to church, giving shelter to many who couldn't afford rent prices today. I remember Mary telling me the story of when they started courting - She told me they kept their horses at the same barn, she was leaving for school and it was raining, Charles asked if he could ride behind her so her dress didn't get dirty. It's one of the most romantic stories I know. Weston lost a legend.
