Gary William Siebert, 72 of Platte City, MO passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018 at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital in K.C., MO. Gary was born January 2, 1946 in St. Louis, MO to Walter Edgar and Margaret Vivian (Mercille) Siebert. He married Karen A. Hartman on April 26, 1968 in Festus, MO. Gary spent his working life as an engineer for the telephone company in the K.C. area, retiring 11 years ago from A.T. &T. Gary was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Weston, MO. He was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Gary also enjoyed watching movies and attending antique car shows. He was preceded in death by: his parents, and his brothers in law Donnie Dean and Milton Harris. Gary is survived by: his wife Karen; his children Michelle (Rich) Marshall, Matthew (Gemma) Siebert, Benjamin (Abby) Siebert, and Sarah (James) Kirkpatrick; grandchildren Elise and Sadie Siebert, Grace and Liam Kirkpatrick, and Andrew and Grant Marshall; and 2 sisters Patricia Dean and Peggy VanPatter. A visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Weston; followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral mass. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Weston. Memorial contributions can be given to Union City Mission, or Wayside Waifs.
