Cora Lee Toy, 90, of Weston, MO passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at the NorthCare Hospice House. Cora Lee was born June 2, 1927 in Frankford, MO to Charles William and Maude Minnie (Gilbert) Perkins. She married Calvin Coolidge Toy on April 15, 1947 in Weston. Cora Lee enjoyed working at the Weston Pharmacy for over 10 years. She was also an active member of the Christian Assembly Church of Weston, where she loved singing in the choir and cooking for many church dinners. Cora Lee was preceded in death by: her husband; a brother Glen Charles Perkins; a sister Alberta May Toy; and a brother in law Paul Ellis Toy. She is survived by: her son Gary (Sharon) Toy of Platte City, MO; her grandchildren Leticia Wood and Rick Toy both of Weston; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great, great granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family; and a host of loving church family and friends. A visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17; followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Vaughn Funeral Home in Weston. Interment will follow at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Weston. The family suggests contributions be given to NorthCare Hospice.
