Anna Marie Alberto, 88, of Kansas City, Missouri, left us on Nov 26th to join her beloved husband Bill in Heaven. It was her 88th Birthday, and 65th wedding Anniversary.... God and Nana must have had that planned for a while. Anna had suffered a massive heart attack 3 days early, but held on, long enough to say her goodbyes and still be with her husband on their 65th Anniversary. Right up there with St Patrick's Day, Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday, any occasion that involved family, food and a nice drink was alright to Nana. She's 100% Irish and proud of it. She was a devout Catholic who loved her rosary, her Scotch and loved to dance. Born and raised in Boston Mass. Where she met the love of her life William "Bill" Alberto, her 100% Italian husband, a love made in Heaven. After they married they moved to Florida where they raised two children Jerome Alberto and Diane Alberto Crowell. In the late 70's they moved to Kansas City Mo., with a career with TWA. After retiring Anna and Bill travelled the world. Nana is taking her last trip, I'm sure she got First Class. She leaves behind 2 children, 5 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Hope you and Papa are dancing to your favorite Sinatra tune. Our hearts are at peace with yours... Until we meet again. Love you Nana! Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:00am with a funeral service following at 11:00am at Rollins Funeral Home, Platte City, MO. Burial to follow in the Platte City Cemetery.
