Albert Dean Roseler, 83, passed away November 6, 2017 at NorthCare Hospice House in North Kansas City, MO. Albert was born December 2, 1933 in St. Joseph, MO to Albert Joseph and Margaret (Dycus) Roseler. He graduated from Central High School. Albert married MaeElla Sparks on June 6, 1953. They were married 63 years. After retiring, the moved to Bean Lake near Rushville, MO. Albert served his country in the US Marine Corps as a Sargent during the Korean War. He was a Journeyman Iron Worker, working for the Local #10 Union Hall. He was a member of the Weston Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, as well as the Masonic Lodge AF & AM #238 of Rushville, York Right in Weston, Moila Shriners of St. Joseph, International Associations Legion of Honor, Gold Wings, Hillbilly Clam, Order of the Eastern Star Weston Star Chapter #197, American Legion Post #359 of St. Joseph, VFW Post #1175 in Atchison, KS, Marine Corps League Northwest Missouri, and an Honorary Warrior of the Mic-O-Say tribe with Boyscout Troop #155. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; infant son Stephen; son-in-law Robert Lopez; and brother Francis B. Roseler. Albert is survived by two children, Cynthia (Marc) Peterson and Terry Lopez; 10 grandchildren, Ryan (Cari) Sewell, Kyle (Brian) Burgdorf, Amanda (Brian) Fitzgerald, Emmy (Brian) Kreinberg, Jay (Bri) Peterson, Kirk (Traci) Peterson, Matthew (Brentt) Lopez, Sarah (Alfred) Gutierrez, Alyssa Lopez, and Olivia (Olivia) Shull; 17 great grandchildren, Adalia, Marlie, Lucey, Cooper, Mason, Zak, Lexi, Ava, Callahan, Elijah, Cayden, Grayson, Avery, Audrey, Allie, Emery, and Adalie; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Following cremation, a memorial visitation will be held 10-11 am, Tuesday, November 14 at the Weston Christian Church, followed by an 11 am memorial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to the St. Joseph Moila Transport Fund for Shriners Hospitals for Children.
