MaeElla (Sparks) Roseler 81 passed away June 11, 2016 at Hillview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Platte City, MO under the North Care Hospice. MaeElla was born June 8, 1935 in St. Joseph, MO to Ella and Fred Sparks, with 9 siblings. She graduated from Central High School and Maple Woods Community College. MaeElla married Albert Roseler on June 6, 1953 at their home in Bean Lake. They were blessed with 3 children. She spent most of her working days at True Temper Railway Appliance in Kansas City, MO. MaeElla was a member of the Weston Christian Church, Weston Eastern Star, Chapter #197, WIC, (Women in Construction), and the Women’s Auxiliary Marine Corp League. MaeElla was preceded in death by: her parents; 4 sisters; 2 brothers; an infant son Stephen; and son in law Robert Lopez. She leaves behind her husband Albert Dean; 2 children Cynthia (Marc) Peterson, and Terry Lopez; 3 brothers Harvey, Arthur, and Harold (Peggy); and 10 grandchildren Ryan (Cari) Sewell, Kyle (Brian) Burgdorf, Amanda (Brian) Fitzgerald, Emmy (Brian) Kreinberg, Jay (Bri) Peterson, Kirk (Traci) Peterson, Matthew Lopez, Sarah (Alfred) Gutierrez, Alyssa Lopez, and Olivia (Olivia) Shull; and 16 great grandchildren Adalia, Marlie, Lucey, Cooper, Mason, Zak, Lexi, Ava, Callahan, Cayden, Grayson, Avery, Audrey, Allie, Emery, and Adalie; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Following cremation, a visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 20 at the Weston Christian Church; followed by an 11:00 a.m. memorial service, at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be given to NorthCare Hospice.
