Connie brought a lot of joy to the hallways of Platte City Middle School and I will always, always remember her with a smile. During her last few years at the middle school, any pen, pencil, marker, eraser or any other school supply you could think of that she found as she cleaned our building found its way to my desk. Each morning when I unlocked my classroom door I would have a new pile of things Connie dropped off during her evening rounds. :) In my classroom I have a whole cupboard shelf full of my "Connie supplies". They will last me and my future students quite awhile. :) Another one of my favorite things about Connie was how she gave us all nicknames. In her book I was known as "Tinkerbell". :) I enjoyed seeing her and visiting with her every afternoon and I will miss her dearly. Thinking of you all now and in the days and months ahead. My thoughts, prayers and sympathies are with your family. She was a fun and special lady and I am glad I could call her friend. Sincerely, Megan Fulk

Connie meant so much to us at PCMS. I miss her laugh and stopping by to chat. Connie loved to show me pictures of her grandkids, and I remember the video she showed me of the three girls finding out they were having a baby brother as they took a bite of cupcakes. I brought my new puppy to school and made arrangements for Erica (who also worked with Connie) and her kids to do some doggy daycare for about a month until my husband's work schedule changed, and oh the fun we had watching that tiny Yorkie play in person and through videos. Connie always had a heart for others, and I am honored to have her for a friend and colleague. The end of the school day isn't nearly as much fun without her. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband, children, and grandchildren.
