Connie Jean Brittingham, 62, of Farley, MO, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the St. Luke’s Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Connie was born December 26, 1956 in Smithville, MO to James Lee and Dorothy Pauline Foster. She graduated from Park Hill High School, and later married David E. Brittingham on August 6, 1982 in Kansas City, MO. She worked for 15 years with the Platte County R3 School District. Connie enjoyed fishing and gardening, but most of all loved spending time with her grandbabies. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Butch; and sisters Janet and Rennie. Connie is survived by her husband; children Amelia Pauline Custer of Texas, and Erick David Brittingham of Farley, MO; grandchildren Abigail, Isabella, Samantha, and Dylan; siblings Terry (Rick) Tennison, Dean (Lisa) Foster, Jimmy (Lozetta) Foster, Paul Foster, and Jack Sponaugle; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. Following cremation, a memorial visitation/celebration of life will be held 1:00 – 3:00 pm, Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City. Memorial contributions can be given to a charity of your choice.
