Gayle Diane Carr, 82, of Ferrelview, MO, passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at Hillview Nursing & Rehab. Center in Platte City, MO. Gayle was born July 3, 1937 in Hartford, CT to Edgar “George” and Lue Allen. She was of the Protestant faith and worked for General Electric aviation as a computer analyst, for 31 years. Gayle enjoyed reading and going for walks. She also was an avid Patriot’s football fan and played the role of being the “family bookie”. Gayle was preceded in death by her parents; and her former husband William T. Carr. She is survived by her sons Steven (Diedre) Carr of Ferrelview, and Scott (Kim) Carr of Benson Vermont; her granddaughter Melanie (James) Wall; her sister Dawn Bridges of Florida; her niece Bonnie Lewin and her nephew Bobby Currie. Cremation will take place, and the family suggests contributions can be given to the American Cancer Society.
