Ronald Edward Gudewicz Sr, Age 79 of Platte City, MO, also known to almost everyone as Pa, lived a
long, fulfilling and amazing life, passing away peacefully on Thursday, December 26, 2019. He was
originally from Chicago, IL where he met his one true love, the late Mary L.Gudewicz (Campbell). They
enjoyed a short 41 years of marriage, raising two amazing children, the late Ronald Edward Gudewicz Jr
(Patricia) and Kathleen Marie Voelz (Glenn). They spent a short retirement in Mercer, WI where they
enjoyed the presence of their 5 grandchildren Erin (Paul Serafin), Molly (Mark Kapturski), Shawn Voelz
(Jessica), Timothy and Meghan (Joshua Schmitt). After the passing of Mary, Pa would truly exuberate
what it meant to live every day to its fullest. Traveling to any place that he could get to, but most
importantly being there for his 8 great-grandchildren Brayden, Makenzie, Tyler, Logan, Ayden, Ava,
Penny, and Amelia, who he loved so dearly. He was a fond brother of the late Edward, Judy, Shirley,
Ken, Marilyn, and Joanne. Pa will be greatly missed by everyone he has met along his journey and will be
in our hearts forever. Until we meet again, there will be no more tears, we love you!
