Donald Semenec, 62, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital in K.C., MO. Donald was born August 22, 1957 in Fall River, MA to Daniel Carrera and Irene Silva. He was raised in Illinois, where he lived for 30 years and later moved to the Platte City, MO area around 7 years ago. Donald was of the Christian faith. He loved to play guitar and was known by all his friends as a very faithful and loving man. Donald was preceded in death by a sister Judy Silva. He is survived by his wife Karen; his children Donald and Shawn Semenec, Christopher (Jennifer Price) Fournier, James (Clarissa Rojas) Fournier, Raymond (Melissa Worthley) Tosti, Jonathan (Shyanne Warren) Tosti, Daniel Semenac; 6 grandchildren; his brothers Vassil and James Silva; and numerous friends and extended family. Following cremation, a memorial service will be Monday, January 6th at 10am at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO. Memorial contributions can be given to the American Cancer Society.
