I enjoyed knowing Jr and will miss him. I could call him and we would talk about anything, he was so knowledgeable. We would talk about my latest project and he would help me work out the bugs. Such a wonderful man.

I was blessed by knowing Brother Junior and Sister Ruby for many years. They were such a sweet couple and loved the Lord, their family and their church family. I was always impressed by Junior's tenderness towards the Lord and how thankful he was for the Lord's leading and keeping in his life, as he would often testify. He and Ruby were a wonderful example of a Godly couple. We are praying for his family and the church family there at Christian Assembly.

I served as Pastor of Christian Assembly Church in Weston from 1999-2008. Junior and his wife, Ruby, were faithful members of the church, and they quickly became dear friends of me and my wife, Sheila. Junior was a member of the board of the church and gave wise counsel in church business and activities. He and I and often fished together and he always enjoyed fishing with my youngest son, Bobby, when Bobby came for a yearly summer visit. After I retired from serving as Pastor of the church we remained close friends. He will be missed by his friends and family. However, we can rest in the knowledge that all who have trusted Jesus as the Lord and Savior have a far greater inheritance and blessing in the life God has prepared for us when He closes the door on our time on earth and we enter into the Presence of our God in heaven. The best is yet to come, and Junior is now enjoying it.
