Helen Dennis Hay, born September 22nd/ 1933 died January 14th, 2021, peacefully at a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Marie Dennis of Rushville, MO, where she grew up. On May 12th, 1955, she married Alonzo (Poppy) Hay. They were lifelong Weston residents as tobacco farmers. They had 3 children, Raymond, Dianna, and Kathy. Mrs. Hay was proceeded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 43 years, all of her brothers and sisters, and her daughters Dianna Edwards and Kathy Hay. She is survived by her son, Raymond Hay of Platte City, MO, 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her. There will be a graveside service Monday, January 18th, 1 p.m. at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Weston, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorials go to Rollins Funeral Home, 1106 Branch Street, Platte City, MO.
