Imogene C. Dillon, 89, of Platte City, MO passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022 at the North Care Hospice House in North K.C., MO. Imogene was born in St. Joseph, MO to Leroy Emmet and Eva Mae Delores (Reber) Bradford on December 24, 1932. She married Robert Kenneth Dillon on March 9, 1948 in St. Joseph, MO. Imogene was of the Christian Faith. She worked as a clerk for Crouch Drugstore in Platte City for around 25 years; and later, drove cars for Roberts Auto Plaza in Platte City. Imogene was an avid racing fan and particularly enjoyed Ainsworth Racing. She was also an animal lover who adopted many dogs over the years. Imogene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert (Bob) K. Dillon; and a daughter Dolores E. Dillon Bird. She is survived by her son Robert K. Dillon Jr.; and 3 grandchildren Carol L.M. Bird, Joshua R. Dillon, and Amanda J. Dillon. A visitation will be held 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 28, 2022 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City; followed by an 11:00 a.m. funeral service.
