David Dale Hall, 82, resident of Platte City, MO (formerly of Sault Ste. Marie, MI) passed away on April 13, 2022. Dave was born August 21, 1939 to Axel ‘Mac’ and Irene (Anderson) Hall in Dunnell, MN. Dave proudly served in the US Army from 1958 to 1963. Dave married the love of his life, Ruth (Horswell) Hall, on May 12, 1962. They spent many years making beautiful music together, performing throughout the Midwest as Ruthie and Dave. He was a gifted musician and thoroughly enjoyed the years they played together. Dave is survived by his four children, Tim (Joan) Hall of Sault Ste. Marie, MI; Tina (Altaf) Hall-Uddin of Shawnee, KS; Ramona Hall of Lansing, MI; and Melissa (Hall) Petropoulos of Shawnee, KS. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Brooke, David, Tim, Mary, and Sara, and three great grandchildren, Hayden, Harper, and Frances. Dave was preceded in death by his wife and parents, his brother Richard Hall, and his sister, Jane (Hall) Jacobsen. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on April 16, 2022 at Rollins Funeral Home in Platte City, MO, followed by burial at Platte City Cemetery. Visitation is at 10:00 am.
