Obituary for Craig Steven Sandahl

Craig Steven Sandahl
April 5th, 1968- January 31st, 2024
Craig passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the young age of 55. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Laura; two sons, Shane (Katy) and Tyler (Victoria); a daughter Taeler; and two grandsons, Oliver and Colton. Craig was the truest example of what a man is supposed to be. Unwavering love and loyalty to his wife Laura who was the love of his life. He was a devoted and loving father to his children Shane, Tyler, and Taeler. A man who walked tall amongst his peers, for they knew he could be counted on in every situation. His passions of riding motorcycles, firearms, his truck and BBQ fueled his happiness and personality. There was nothing that made him happier than his family though. He carried many titles but the one he loved the most was Grandfather. The second happiest day outside of marrying Laura was the day he gained that title. He made a lasting impression on everyone he met, whether for a few minutes or lifelong friendships. For some he came off strong and hard, but to those that knew him well, he was a teddy bear on the inside. The belief in being true in every aspect of life was the essence of everything he did. Craig lived life to the fullest and was truly happy to the core with all he accomplished throughout his life. Craig will be missed dearly. He wouldn’t want you to cry but instead smile and remember the fruitful memories created with him. We will always remember. In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me account has been established to support the family during this difficult time. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a date TBD.
